SCHS Introducing Horticulture, Community Assistance Appreciated

Scott City High School is reaching out to the community for support to assist in creating a horticulture/gardening class offered for the first time during the 2018-19 school year. We have the space and energy to be successful in the program, however we are in need of donations to launch the program.

This project has many benefits to the students as well as the community. The art of horticulture and gardening helps students learn to be self-sufficient, working as a group, hands on tasks, and especially the importance of giving back to the community through produce donations to our Scott City Food Pantry. We are excited to begin this project and hope it can grow in size and participation. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and used appropriately. A list of items is below and you may contact Layna Kirchner or LaDonna Pratt if you wish to assist. This email address is being protected from spambots.
