The Scott City R-I Board of Education met in regular session on October 17, 2012. The Board conducted the following business.
- Keisha Panagos, curriculum/A+ coordinator, reviewed the elementary focus school accountability plan as well as the MSIP accountability plan with the board members. The plans included the four core elements of leadership, collaborative cultures, curriculum and assessment, and effective instruction. The plan emphasizes the use of data teams to increase student achievement.
- Approved the 2011-12 audit as submitted. Certified public accountants from the firm of Stanley, Dirnberger, Hopper and Associates, LLC conducted the audit in which no negative items were found.
- Superintendent Diann Ulmer reported to the board that the September student attendance rate for the District was 95.95%.
In Closed Session, the Board of Education took no action.
