On January 3rd, all three Robotics teams competed at the Show Me Center on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University. It was the largest First Tech Challenge qualifier in the state with over 40 teams participating. Team 3740 and 8403 also competed January 10th at Meramec Community College in St. Louis, with Team 8403 qualifying for state competition in Rolla. Team 6377 will compete next on February 7th in the Rockwood qualifier at Selvidge Middle School in Ballwin, MO. Matches at both venues start at approximately 12:15. There is no admission charge.

Robotics creates the opportunity for students to design, build and program robots. Team members have to apply real world math and science concepts and develop problem solving, organizational and team-building skills. Robotics teams compete and cooperate in alliances and tournaments throughout the season. To view this years challenge you can go to http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/ftc/game.
